Setting An Easter Table is easy….and you really don’t need to go out and buy “stuff”. I keep baskets and little egg nests year after year.
And…..I love Peter Cotton Tail …hopping down the Bunny Trail.
There is something about little bunnies that steal my heart away.
I have a large white ceramic bunny that sits in my Secret Garden all year ’round and when I go out in the early morning hours to have my quiet time….it is comforting to see him sitting there by the pink bougainvillea and bird bath.
And I love to use bunnies in any Spring time vignette or tablescape.
We all know that Easter is much more than bunnies and coloring Easter eggs…it is a time of remembrance of Good Friday, the Cross and He is Risen!
So we celebrate Easter…..and the real meaning for each one of us….and we like to set pretty tables in honor of the occasion.
…….and in the case of this tablescape…I started with four gray place mats placed down the center of my table.
I love mercury glass candlesticks and there are three sizes on my table, two holding candles and one holding a cute little nest of eggs.
Who says one has to “always” put a candle on a candlestick?
I like doing the unexpected.
I also filled two clear glass cylinder vases with pastel colored easter eggs and white dogwood branches.
Love this cute little bunny and carrot salt and pepper shakers.
Another bunny with a basket of fabric carrots that I picked up at Pier 1 a couple years ago.
And yet another bunny holding a speckled Easter egg in his little basket on his back.
I have placed these bunny egg cups at each place setting.
The place settings are simple…..a white dinner plate and salad plate with a white napkin placed in the center of the plate.
On top of the napkin resides a little nest with one Easter egg. A place card can be placed in the little bird’s nest.
The flatware are vintage ivory handled flatware that go nicely with the bubble glass water goblets.
Have a great and Blessed day!

Another beautiful table…thanks…
I just love playing with my dishes Karole and you give me assurance by your comment… that others like to see the different tablescapes. If only one aspect of my tablescapes inspire someone somewhere…then my joy is complete and it validates me.
thanks again.
