Jesse James

I would like you to meet Jesse James!  He is almost 5 years old and has been a part of our lives for about 4 1/2 years!  Jesse is the sweetest little white Pomeranian and he is the most loving, obedient animal we have ever owned…..:)This picture was his Halloween costume this year. He has a neck Bandana for every holiday…. thanks to his groomer Aaron…

The Captain and I adore all 5 pounds of him.  He is not talented, does not do tricks… unless you call the turn around dance that he does when he needs to go outside and do his B’ness. 🙂 Basically all he does is eat and sleep and play with his squeaker toys once in a while….and of course bring joy to the Captain and Me.

I love the way he comes looking for me when he wakes from a nap….he goes room to room looking from the doorway and when he has found me, he just smiles as he is doing in the picture above and turns around and finds a new place to lie down.  It is as if he is making sure I am still here.

The last time we had Jesse groomed, I asked Aaron to trim about 2-4 inches all around.  I didn’t want to shave him down to nothing, I just wanted him to be a little cooler!  It’s not easy wearing a fur coat all the time, right Jesse?  🙂  The above picture was before his grooming. He resembles a big fluff ball looking like he weighs about 20 pounds.  (Our kids tease that Jesse looks like a Persian cat…especially when he crosses his front feet and licks them… much like a cat will do).

I think you can see why we named him Jesse James….he is like a little bandit!  He stole our hearts! We love you Jesse!!!
