Kitchen Suggestions for Flip Number Three!

Seriously! I am always open to suggestions.

Well my dear readers, we have made it through two Flips, both are remodeled, landscaped and sold.  Whew!

Now we are working on Flip 3 with Flip 4’s initial planning. (that means the Captain making pencil scratches with expenses) 😉

I thought you might like to see the pics of Flip 3, so I am showing you a few.

The outside of this one is in pretty good shape…the inside is not.

We have to tear up old carpet in the bedrooms and all the tile (some are chipped) and re-model the kitchen and baths.

I always try to make the kitchen something I would like to work with…and as you can see this kitchen is in dire need of help.  

There are two kinds of tiles (ugh) and the cabinet extends too far into the dining area directly to the left of the end cabinets.

Kitchen is like a dark hole….so we will lighten it up with taller 42 inch upper cabinets and lighted glass door cabinets above them…new granite counter tops and new kitchen design….and of course all new appliances.

The cabinets will all be torn out, including a new layout…. which I have tentatively drawn up.

I am thinking of moving sink to a boomerang shaped island….and you will note that there isn’t room for too many upper cabinets.

I just love re-designing kitchens. 🙂 

AND I am thinking of making that whole backside sliders rather than patio door and windows.

We like to put in pools with plenty of outdoor living space,  that is always the tentative plan and with the back side opened up…it should add plenty of light.

So here is where you come in. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions for remodeling this kitchen?

I will keep you posted as to the progress, but right now I am looking at paint chips and floor tiles as the “guys” are literally tearing out the carpet and all the tiles as we speak.

Believe me you would not want to see those dusty, cluttered pictures,  but when they are finished….I will show you.

Of course, I am always up for any suggestions you might have regarding this un-friendly kitchen.

Until then…if you know someone who is wanting a 3 bedroom two bath house in Florida with a lovely pool…..keep us in mind. 🙂
