It is Monday, my dear readers and you know that Monday is our Celebrate Your Story Link Party!
I started with my decorating early as I was limited on my “work time” due to my re-cooperating, but I am still behind.
We are having two Christmas Open Houses…one on Friday and one on Saturday that had been planned way before my broken foot issue.
I am slowly coming to the conclusion that what isn’t done…is ok….our friends will understand.
It is what it is.
And for someone who likes to be in control…that is quite a lesson to smack home. LOL
So now let’s talk Link Party.
I chose for my feature from last week’s entries Sandra’s table at Dinner at Eight with her adorable twelve days of Christmas tablescape.
Her salad plates represent every part of the twelve days of Christmas song.
I LOVE those salad plates so head on over there to see the Lord’s leaping and maids milking, etc.
Chloe chose for her feature, Cristina’s Birds Party lovely edible holiday wreath cheese platter which is so colorful and beautiful.
I love a good cheese platter and the beautiful arrangement is so appetizing. Yum!
The most clicked on link!
Pam at Every Day Living with her traditional reds and greens sweet tablescape was the most clicked on link last week.
I especially loved the red cardinals on the centerpiece of her beautiful table.
Sandra is taking this time off for a little R & R from the link party for her family.
We all could use a little more time as the Holidays will be upon us before we know it.
Please link up with us for next week’s Link party….the rules are below.

Thanks for being such a faithful hostess… I missed that you were sick (recuperating?). I hope you are back to 100% soon! I’m trying to get a winter wreath post up before I leave for CO this weekend… we’ll see how that goes! 😉

You are welcome and thank you for linking up. We so appreciate you.
I wasn’t sick, I broke my foot (bone in the side) in September and it was quite an ordeal to sit with it elevated ALL the time. Doing so much better now. 😉
Enjoy Colorado, we lived in Kansas AND Missouri and made several trips a year to all parts of Co. Then, when we lived in New Mexico we continued our treks to that beautiful state.
We also had/have family that lived/live there…near Monarch and near Greeley and near The Springs.
We now live in SW Florida…where it is warm and sunny and the gulf of Mexico out our back door so to speak.
Be safe in your travels.

Kari, one last stop before the week gets to the ‘wound too tight’ point – thank you for co-hosting Celebrate Your Story. I wish you and your Captain a very Merry Christmas!
Kari says
I hear ya Rita…we have two Christmas parties, Friday eve and Saturday eve that had been previously committed to…. so it is put the hammer down and get busy. The Captain brought in two ladies to clean for me and help with getting ready. That is a big relief for me. Luckily, one party is our church group (a potluck of finger foods) and the party on Saturday is a Christmas Open House with wassail, cookies and such.
We do have family coming for Christmas Eve Dinner (there is five of them and the grands asked for ham) Yay! for me as I can pop that in the oven and call it good. Christmas day will be a relaxing day after the kiddos head over to Disney World for Christmas Day before heading home.
Hang in there my friend, Enjoy your family and the day.

Kari, thanks so much for hosting!

You are so welcome Pam and we are so glad for all the linking up you do. We really appreciate your loyalty. Like Rita said, we are all getting to the point of getting ‘wound too tight’ before all the festivities,… so time to set the everyday blog, maintenance, etc, aside and enjoy this time of celebration. May God Bless you and keep you and yours healthy and happy during this season. Luv ya
