As we wind down this past Easter Holiday and move towards Spring and Summer Holidays…I hope you are able to take a breather.
Replacing a few windows and adding a French Door has gotten me in the mood to make a few other changes in my efforts of preparing for Spring.
Like updating a couple rooms.
Nothing major, at least not yet, but little changes like moving things around …or to a different room.
One of these changes is fairly simple…and I have already started.
And it is a routine, non-exciting chore.
Cleaning out the freezers!
Sorta boring…but it does give one a feeling of accomplishment, as I have 3 freezers, and sometimes I wait too long, before I begin to clean out and use items that are about to expire.
Ugh!!!!
It is one of those chores that is so easy to let slide…you know, ‘I’ll do that tomorrow’, kind of thing… out of sight, out of mind.
I have decided that I will be more diligent and plan to make it a weekly routine to do this chore, although I have said ‘that‘ before.
Speaking of weekly, it is Celebrate your story link party.
My first choice is from Lynne at Happier Than A pig In Mud with her instant pot (read pressure cooker) colored eggs.
I loved the deep colors of the dyed eggs.
To Lynn: How wonderful for the added bonus you found by dying your eggs this way, and I am definitely putting this method away for next year.
My second choice is from Cristina at Bird’s Party and it is her pretty polka dot tablescape that caught my eye.
I love how she incorporated Spring in her pastel blue, pink, green and yellow tablescape.
To Cristina: What a lovely idea to put two centerpieces on your table that capture each place setting.
My third choice is from Carol at Bluesky at home as she gives us tips on faux flower arranging.
Carol shows us many ways to arrange faux flowers and I have always thought if you use good quality faux flowers, they will look like they are real and Carol agrees with me.
To Carol: Thanks for including some of your favorite bloggers flower arranging….the photos are beautiful.
The most clicked on post featured was Pam from Everyday Living.
Pam always provides us with beautiful photos and her Easter afternoon in the country’s cute little bunnies and gorgeous country photos don’t disappoint.
To Pam: I love that Mrs. Bunny is holding a ‘Welcome Spring’ sign while still wearing her little pink jacket and hat!
So there you have it my friends….thanks to all of you who joined our Celebrate Your Story Link Party.

Such cute features! I can so relate to your freezer challenge, we have way too much stuff in our freezers! Silly because one of us goes to the grocery at least 3-4 times a week! Thanks for hosting Kari!
