Stop popping up at me!
No, not you my dear readers, but those crazy pop ups that appear in my “feed” and interrupt my reading of very, very, very important Google articles.
Example…see the top three pop ups I encountered today, while attempting to read a news feed.
Ok, I confess, maybe “Top Ten States With The Cheapest Gas Prices”
or “Plastic Surgeon Reveals 1 Method To Snap Back Aging Skin”
or “5 Benefits and Uses of Frankincense” are not considered ‘must reads’.
But there are times when the headline(s)…well, ‘they” draw me in.
And I stop and read the pop ups.
In my defense, …
I like to think I am interested in the top ten states’ gas prices, even though I do not have a current trip planned and we all know how fickle the gas prices are anyway…. so it really doesn’t matter where the cheap prices are,…
…because most likely the price will change before I happen to motor their way.
Let’s move on!
And I know as I age, I am seeing the ‘bat wings’ under my arms that my grandma warned me about when I was 12 years old.
You are never too young to be made aware of flabby skin under the arm, …but I guess I didn’t listen to my grandma as…well, let’s just say my upper arms will never leave home without the proper covering.
For the life of me, I can’t recall what my grandma said to do about my underarms at 12 years old.
Guess I had other thoughts then what my bat wings would look like in 30 years.
Let’s move on!
AND we all have heard of the healing powers of essential oils….yes, I bought a kit of about 15 of these precious oils and they all sit proudly on a shelf by my desk.
Oh, guess I forgot one is supposed to use them… not look at them.
You see, like many things I purchase, I kinda, sorta seem to forget to use them on a daily basis. ;(
Which leads me now,… to the enlightening I received today, that I am about to share with you..
Just so ya know…the top ten states, (according to AAA) with the cheapest gas prices are:
- Missouri: $2.518 per gallon.
- Tennessee: $2.461 per gallon.
- Texas: $2.452 per gallon.
- Arkansas: $2.439 per gallon.
- South Carolina: $2.409 per gallon.
- Alabama: $2.389 per gallon.
- Louisiana: $2.383.
- Mississippi: $2.372.
Frankincense essential oil is also used to alleviate stress and relieve pain.
When used as an ingredient in skin care products, frankincense essential oil is said to treat dry skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and stretch marks.
Just what does “the ‘appearance’ of fine lines and wrinkles” mean?
I don’t have the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles…I actually have fine lines and wrinkles.
Are they referring to a person’s eye sight as they look at us?
Does it reduce their vision to only the ‘appearance’ of said lines and wrinkles?
I know…
Confusing, isn’t it?
Today, I put a few drops of Frankincense on both my under arm bat wings and both of my knees, as my knee joints are feeling a little stiff.
I haven’t really noticed any ease in the movement of my knee joints, or any reduction in the appearance of bat wings under my arms, but I do smell like a Christmas tree, so it can’t be all bad.
Conclusion?
Inquiring minds want to know and today, I took “3 pop ups” for the team.
I read them all… so you wouldn’t have to read them.
What is that, you say?
Oh, you wouldn’t have read them anyway?
I didn’t say I was smart, I said I was curious.
You’re Welcome…
Have a great and Blessed Day!

Here in Texas, we are down to $2.22 for gas. You are just too funny! I don’t get pop-ups on my computer, but I do fall for what I call “click bait” on my phone or on FB. But, the ones I stop to read are “see how the stars have aged”, “these stars are finally coming out”, “how drinking dog urine every day improves the look of my skin”, (no joke on the headline), etc. I also check out the stuff for the latest greatest pile of poop that I can rub into my skin to erase my wrinkles…LOL Love and hugs sweet friend!

LOL Benita…that is too funny! Wow, your gasoline is cheap, but then you are in one of the states mentioned. Thanks for all your encouragement at my sense of humor. Hugs sweet friend.

Kari,
Funny…but I am anti pop up…I never read them especially after being warned by my son who is an IT for Web.com that many of the pop ups can contain viruses that would invade your computer. He warned me not to read those pop ups so just a word to the wise..
Hugs,
Deb

I don’t know why you get all of those pop ups, I don’t. I can see why they catch your attention, although I wonder why Florida isn’t on the list for cheap gas, it is only $2.42 here in Orlando right now. You are so funny!!
Kari says
I guess I am just lucky Chloe…or I need to check out my filters to prevent pop ups! LOL, I know, our gas is pretty low here on the west coast…thanks for stopping by….hugs
