My Dancing Friend Across the Pond!
This will be a short post today as my dancing friend across the pond will be arriving soon.

From Here To The Moon And Back…
I am so excited to have her visit and I have been checking out places to go and fun things to do.
She came for a visit a couple years ago and we had a blast!
We went to see the alligators in an air-boat …skimming across the swampy waters and I introduced her to a few different types of foods that she had never tasted.
Actually, we used to be working “partners” for the same airplane manufacturer… although she resides in England.
We met through seminars and what we call “Home Week” in Seattle and have always stayed in contact!
This is the current weather situation right as we speak…..ugh, the green dot is Cape Coral!
There has been rain the last couple weeks (off and on), but I have ordered the Florida Sunshine to come out for the next few days and show her all about the sunshine state.
(We shall see how much “clout” I have with the weather! ) 😉
The good news is there is so much to see and do in Florida!
We kept busy every day the last time she was here and so we have decided we would do a few things, but would mostly lie by the pool and catch up on all that is happening since I retired last November. 😉
Who knows? We may be “sunning in the rain”…but the rain has been like a drizzle, which is much like the weather in England.
So I am off to lunch and then to the airport.
I will post pics of her visit for those “co-worker readers” who know us both well! 🙂
I am hoping she shows me a few dance moves…she is very good at Latin Dances among others….I might just surprise the Captain! 🙂

Made it to Chicago…. but have 7 hours to kill…. Not much people watching in this AA lounge and it smells of fish….hopefully it’s not me !
Just so excited to catch up with the loveliest Kari and of course, her Captain…. and fingers crossed for some sunshine…
