Paradise Deli & Market….
The Captain and I believe we live in Paradise and as such …there just had to be a Paradise Deli & Market….!
And there is a little restaurant not far from where we live that is called just that.
The service is great, the food is great and it is one of those little places where everyone knows your name…or at least what your favorite “usual” is.
We walk in the door and sit at our favorite table by the door (it has a tiki umbrella) and Lisa heads our way….grabs the grapefruit juice for the Captain and the orange juice for me.
*The Paradise Deli & Market serves breakfast, lunch and dinner….and no matter the time of day, we have not been disappointed.
The kitchen is clearly visible from our table…..
The decor…kinda “beachy”, we do live in Paradise after all!
I like the touch of the Menu Board….
One page of “The Menu”…..
One morning (the Captain was flying)….and I went to the Paradise Deli for breakfast as I had an appointment up that way.
And I saw her…..
I had to smile as the little red-haired girl brought back so many memories of myself at her age.
Yes, we do that as we get older….we reminisce a lot.
And certain people or things remind us of days past.
As I left the restaurant, I heard a low flying plane and I looked up, of course.
Yep! The memories came flooding back to the days when I learned to fly a Cessna 172…..and I had to smile.
Ahhhhhh, isn’t life grand?
Do you, my dear readers find yourself reminiscing as you grow older?…Or is it just Me? 🙂
* My meal was independently paid for… by Me!

Do you think I need to stock up on hay, for the steed, or carrots,in case he’s on a donkey?
Ever the optimist – Luv ya too

Bring out the molasses and oats, dear girl….this one is gonna be a keeper! No “Eeyore” here, so make a CRUDITÉS platter, and eat those carrots yourself!;)

You are indeed living in Paradise… with so many lovely places and an amazing choice of restaurants.
I’m a great fan on the Sunday brunch… the only time I have for a lazy late breakfast..
The key to the perfect breakfast… is the perfect company..
Hugs to you and your Captain from across the pond..
xx
