Grand Daughter Visiting…..Yep! and her fiance!
I am so excited today, because my beautiful grand daughter has come to Florida to visit the Captain and I.
It is early yet, and they are not up out of bed…so I wanted to take this moment to tell you, my dear readers that this post will be unlike many of my posts…cuz it will be short.
Their flight came in around midnight and of course we had to stay up and “catch up” on all the news…so bedtime was very late.
I am sure they were also tired as they both worked their jobs and didn’t board the plane until after work.
So I have had my quiet time outside in the Secret Garden, altho it was a little warm and muggy today. Grabbed my cuppa and…well, here I am.
We are also celebrating third grand daughter’s belated birthday…her birthday was actually on the 1st of September…but better late than never, right? The pic above is of three of my grand daughters….and no, they did dress like that every day! 🙂
In the pic, first grand daughter on the left and second grand daughter on the right….. and of course this little pixie right in the middle is the little birthday girl! Only, she isn’t little any more, as she is all grown up!
Excuse me while I get a tissue, I seem to have something in my eye!
This “little” girl has brought me so much joy over the years…..she used to pop up to Kansas City from Salina, Kansas to stay with me for extended periods of time during the summer months and sometimes week-ends while she was in school and later college.
Needless, to say….I never said or did anything silly or goofy with her! NOT!
Like old times, as the saying goes….and you know I will let her sleep as long as she wants! Also, NOT! 😉
I think I might accidentally start dusting her closed door…spraying Pledge or some such thing as that door seems to be the only door in the house that needs a little touch up. 🙂
Have a great Friday and I hope you are spending it with someone you love. The Captain and I will certainly be doing that. 🙂

hehe Kari what are you like… I’m sure just talking to Jessie James would have been enough to alert your house guests…
Hope the whole trip was fantastic… and that you didn’t embarrass her with too many trips down memory lane… xx

Great pictures, Kari. They don’t stay young for long, but while they do they are sweet.
Have a happy Labor Day!
Hugs,
Sandy
