Please Forgive Me For These Photos……:)
If you have been following my posts….you will know that my Third Grand Daughter and her Fiance are visiting us in Florida, and we are having a blast.
Well, most of the time we are having a blast.
I am experiencing a ton of emotions.
- amusement
- joy
- laughter
- empathy
- laughter
- sympathy
Let me explain.
Apparently, Third Grand Daughter and Fiance made a “pact” of sorts as they started their journey together, and this is in regards to food…(Fiance is the chief cook and bottle washer in the relationship, Third Grand Daughter is the baker)….the pact is as follows: No matter what the food, one has to at least “taste” it one time.
Just a taste….not involving eating the whole thing….just a taste, and then if they didn’t like it….they didn’t have to eat it!
Third Grand Daughter hails from landlocked Kansas….and so naturally, many sea foods are not freshly caught and placed before her in a feast.
The following pictures are of Third Grand Daughter tasting raw clams in the shell for the first time. (Granted, she had already experienced raw oysters on the half shell a few days before, and she did not care for them, but now it was time for clams.)
Yes, what ups and downs in emotions I experience with my grand children…
- amusement
- joy
- laughter
- empathy
- laughter
- sympathy
You can guess which of the two really likes raw clams and oysters!
You know I luv ya, my darling Third Grand Daughter! ;)…so please forgive these pictures of your raw clam episode! 😉
More to come…..
Have a great and safe Labor Day!
Hugs to all my Readers!
