Do you love nostalgia, like…you know, like Home for the Harvest?
Home for the Holidays?
Home for just about any celebration.
Me Too!!!
The Autumn and Fall are favorites of mine.
How about taking a walk through the fallen leaves and smelling fireplace smoke in the crisp cool air?
Yeah!
Me too!
And when I saw this sign, “Home for the Harvest” at a craft show…with the cute little truck sporting the sign Harvest Hill Pumpkin Farm…
Well, I just had to have it.
I love the old truck loaded with pumpkins.
I love the fall wreath on the front of the pick-up.
Reminds me of the pumpkin patch in a little town in Missouri, called Weston!
I loved visiting that old farm with apple cider, honey from the hive and of course apples and pumpkins.
And what about those bushel baskets?
You don’t see too many of them anymore…
…there are a few for sale … the apple farms usually have a few of them loaded with apples of almost every variety.
Yep! I love nostalgia.
I love Home for the Harvest.
So I decided to set up a vignette with my newly purchased Home for the Harvest sign.
I pulled out some autumn leaves, a small bushel basket and I also added a ceramic pumpkin.
Nostalgia!
It doesn’t take much to make the end of your counter-top or dining table look like Autumn has come to visit.
You can use a sign as I have or you can use a Fall plate and place it on an easel…add a few fall leaves, a ceramic pumpkin or candle and you have a vignette.
Use whatever you have already, it doesn’t have to be expensive…just a little something to give your room a lift.
I am sure some of you are saying it might perhaps be a little early for Fall decor, but it will be here before you know it and this is a head-start for me.
As you know we live in SW Florida and there is a desire to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.
For me, it is in home decor.
And nostalgia!
And memories!
And all that stuff.
Have a great day and Blessings for everyone.

Hi Kari, no we only really decorate for Christmas. Probably due to lack of storage but home decor evolves like a continual stream😂
My sister pasted up my new chimney breast paper yesterday and I’m hopeful it will meet with her approval today as it was the second attempt! Seems however, that I broke my sister as she rang to say her back is seized today!
My new layout and new flooring has meant a domino knock on effect change and sitting recuperating is slowing the process. I’m fighting the online shopping too🤣
My Samantha is better with her color coordinating and themes. She moved from hand painted moutain peaks in Ewan’s room to her current project is a large chalkboard on one wall in her kitchen. She lets the little ones help😂 She loves Christmas and her trees go up in November much to the amusement of her neighbours. She put mine up on 1st Nov a couple of years ago when I had just flown to Goa and posted it on Facebook!
Anyway enough chatter eh!
Hugs from across the pond xx

Thanks Ross, I hope you are doing well and that you are healing quickly. Are you having Samantha put out a few Fall decorations for you? I am sure your little ones love anything you do for them…grandma is pretty special.
Hugs, thx for your comments, they make my day. 🙂
