Another Celebrate Your Story Link Party Folks!
But I am still trying to play catch-up on my sleep.
Nothing to do with my foot injury, but from staying up until 3:30 a.m. for game 3 of the World Series.
Yep! The record setting baseball game that lasted for a record setting 18 innings.
The score was tied 2-2 for like forever and as each inning would drag by, by eye lids got heavier and heavier.
And then finally, the Dodgers hit a home run to win the game with a walk-off.
Wow!
I love baseball but some people refer to it like watching wet paint dry.
And after that game, it was beginning to seem like the very same.
On another note…things are a little different here in SW Florida.
The weather has cooled down a few degrees which is really nice.
This morning I “scooted” on my little scooter to the Sliding doors, which lead to My Secret Garden… and when I opened the door to let Jesse James outside…I took a deep breath of cooler air.
How refreshing! Fall is arriving.
It is another Celebrate Your Story Link Party week and we have some great selections for your viewing pleasure.
Below are the Selections Chosen for Last Week’s Entries.
My choice for feature of the week is a recipe for a chicken and wild rice casserole from Linda of Poinsettia Drive.
I love comfort food casseroles and this one uses sliced almonds on the top along with the chicken, cheese and wild rice.
It sounds really yummy.l
Sandra chose for her feature from last week , the blog post from Jas’ of All that’s Jas.
Her copycat recipe for neck bone gravy looks and sounds delicious.
I think most people are surprised to find that neck bones have lots of meat, it is just a little time consuming to pick it all off, but the flavor is worth the effort.
Chloe’s choice for her feature of the week is Amber from follow the yellow brick home with her beautiful front porch.
I loved the skellie sitting in the rocker and the spiders and lumpy pumpkins are so cool.
And the link that was clicked on the most was Sandra from Dinner at Eight.
The spiders and witches add to the spooky tablescape with yet a bit of whimsey from her bright orange salad plates.
(I especially liked the witch hanging from the chandy).

Thanks for the fun Kari! I love your photo with “how you know it’s fall in Florida…” that’s so hilarious {and true!!} Snowbirds we call them and they drive the locals crazy in our area! That chicken casserole is calling my name too!
Jenna
Ohhhh the sno-birds…what a fine line we walk. The economy needs them but us locals either stay off the roads during season or out of the restaurants during popular eating times.LOL
Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
Hugs,
Debbie
