“The Thrill of Hope, The Weary World Rejoices” !!!!

The shepherds watching their flocks were the first to hear God’s birth announcement of His Son on the night He was born. He was born of a lowly birth, sent to bring peace to the world. Our Savior, the Christ, The Peacemaker, the Lord! 
 
What wonderful news…The Weary World Rejoices…and yes, we are weary….but we have Hope.
 
I love the song “Let there be Peace on Earth… and let it begin with me.” However, I don’t believe the words Peace on Earth mean that there is no war, friction or ….or like let’s all be one big ole’ happy family. (All though, that would be nice.)  
 
I do believe the peace that God is proclaiming is even better.  It is a peace between Him and the people who please Him. 
 
Luke 2:14  Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth among men on whom He is well pleased. 

My dear readers…I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the encouragement, comments and wonderful interaction you have given to me since I started this Blog. It is such a pleasure for me to share with you all the happenings in our lives as well as old recipes handed down from generation to generation….and to share tablescapes and decorating tips,…. and hopefully inspiration for your home and life.

    I have always been a hopeful person, but this year has been a particularly difficult one for me and my family. The birth of Jesus is always something to celebrate and give us hope.
