It Is Link Party #145 At Celebrate Your Story!

lin k party

Yes, it is Link Party #145….and as I sit on the Lanai enjoying the waning afternoon as it slides into evening, I am reflecting on the day’s happenings.

I know there are floods and hurricanes and all kinds of happenings and I pray for each and every one who is going through a crisis of some sort.

No one really knows until they have walked in the shoes of those going through trials and tribulations just what it is like.

Here in SW Florida, we are in the heart of hurricane season and we have family coming to visit but I am not going to dwell on what may or may not happen.

I am going to enjoy my family because one never knows what tomorrow will bring.

Meanwhile, I want to share with you the choices that Chloe and Sandra and I have chosen for our feature posts.

Congratulations to all four of these bloggers for posting great and interesting posts.

There are so many really great links/posts to share this week and I am going to start with my favorite from Andrea, Living On Cloud Nine...of course it has to do with comfort food, not only is it a cookie recipe, but a triple chip cookie recipe.

Did you know the stores have bags of Nestles Triple Chips, which include dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate?

I mean, I know, right?

How good can it get???

And this recipe is at the top of my list to make this week.

Chloe has picked this wonderful pumpkin cheese cake recipe from Leanna at Faeries and fauna.  Imagine a no bake cheese cake that turns out like this. Yummy!!!

I love that pumpkin is the choice for this scrumptious looking cheese cake.

Sandra, on the other hand turned to a craft project from our link party…from none other than Michelle , at Our Crafty Mom and is she ever crafty.

These wonderful pumpkins are made with fabric from old shirts. Yeah! I know!!!links party

And the post that most of our readers clicked on for this week was from Linda at Burlap and Blue as she showed us how we can decorate our front porches for Fall.

Her mums are such a pretty purple.

  1. I’m trying soooo hard not to worry but I’ve had a girlfriend trip planned for months to cape San Blas on west coast of Florida and Isaac is churning up as I type😢. Now I live in loosiana so I’ve live thru my fair share of hurricanes but not when I have the most fun trip planned…waaaaaaaa. Trying so hard to remain upbeat but flight leaves on sat. I just wanna get there and worry later. Now isn’t that a mature way to think🙄.
When I should be praying for the Carolinas…I need to get my priorities straight.
    Have fun with your family!!!!

    1. We never know where a hurricane may hit land, but I don’t think you have anything to worry about as far as SW Florida is concerned. However, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Prayers for the Carolinas. thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thank you Julie, I believe it will go North of Florida and be closer to Charleston and the Carolinas. Thanks for stopping by.

Please comment, I'd love to hear from you.
