Wanna Know How Many Games There Are?
For non-sports fans, I thought you might want to know!
Twin number two is a big Nascar fan (that season is over) and his spouse counts the days until the Nascar season ends! 😉
Soooo, my dear readers…Baseball season is over….Football season is winding down….and NCAA basketball is getting into full swing!
My Kansas City Sports teams have really stepped up to the plate….so to speak! 😉
The KC Royals made it all the way to the World Series, it only took 29 years to get back there, but they certainly made us proud this year. (FYI…Baseball has 162 games in a season and that season is over)
The KC Chiefs started a bit slow but gained a bit of momentum…they were first place in their division, but now they are struggling to get a wild card spot in the play-offs. ;(
The NFL plays 16 regular season games, with a couple preseason games thrown in…and the regular season ends on Dec 28th….with the Super Bowl played on Feb 1st.
So now it is college basketball…with a game every 3 days (or so) through March!
There are 31 regular season games played in college basketball, right up to the tournament play beginning March 17. The Final Four will be played April 4-6th!
The Jayhawks (KU) have lost only one game (so far) ….losing to another blue and white team, Kentucky….or UK.
Yes, it can get confusing!
So far in this season, the Kansas Jayhawks have won 7 games and lost one …they play again tonight AND they play the Florida Gators…in Lawrence, Kansas!
No, I don’t cheer for Florida teams….I am a die-hard Kansas Sports Team Fan!
So if you do not care too much for sports…you can mark your calendars as to the ends of the sports season.
I mark my calendar noting all the games played and yet to play!
But I am weird…I’ve told you that before! 😉
Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Go Hawks!

Go Hawks! Basketball is my favorite game! I must admit baseball came in very close this year. The Royals were exciting. I have never liked football because it was so brutal. Of course, I want the Chiefs to get their wild card though.
