Pool Perils and the letter “P”!

Promises are made to keep and I Promised you, my dear readers, the continuation of the step by step Process of Pool Phinishing, on one of the houses the Captain and I are “Pflipping” for resale.

Pssst….(OK, maybe my Pastime consists of a few extra hours on my hands, AND I took a few liberties with words that should start with a “P”, but don’t ! 🙂

 

Let us Proceed….Picking up where we left off on the Pool Posts’ Pool Protocol.Priming: the surface by Placing a mixture of acid and water to Purify the sides of the Pool.

Preparing: the Plaster Premix with water in the ole’ Pulsating mixer.

Perched on the Precipice of the Pool, the Plight of this Part of the Process is to Propel the Positioning and Progression of the Plaster mix for the 5 Plasterers to hand trowel the Putty-like Plaster onto the bottom and sides of the Pool. (Heh, Heh, Heh…Pretty good sentence with the “P’s” huh?  It doesn’t take much to amuse me!)Potentially like frosting a cake!

Pointed shoes are used to walk around in the Puddles of Plaster that have been Plunked on the bottom of the Pool’s surface.

Priority being, to keep the plaster smooth, so these fashionable sponges soon replace the pointed shoes as the process winds down.
Precision: is the key to proficiency! 

Suddenly, a bright sunny day Played a Prank…..Precipitation of course! Forcing a scramble to cover the Pool and all 5 People (Plasterers) Persisted with their work underneath the Plastic Protection….which was a bit strange, as they were using sponges and water hoses under the Protective covering.   (I Partnered by watching from inside the house) 🙂

The above Picture is the Parade of the 5 Plasterers as they emerged around the Perimeter, from under the Plastic….as the clouds Parted, the Precip Passed and Patches of sunshine Peered from the Pastel skies.   

The Premise is that Presumably, they were touching up the blue tiles and washing down the white surface to expose the Pattern of speckled interior color. (Not Privy to the Premium work under the Plastic, since I really couldn’t Peruse exactly the happenings through all that Paraphernalia.  

So to Pardon the Paraphrase, the Plasterers’ Portrayal called for the Purging of the white milky substance, using water hoses and sponges, to reveal the Perfection shown in the Picture below!

Little Blue tiles are Peppered along steps and sun deck while a Profusion of tiny blue flecks Periodically rise to the fast drying surface,

…..revealing the Permanence of the Perpetuation of the sky blue Personality of the Interior Coating.

 A Persimmon-colored water tanker truck arrives within an hour of the departure of the Plasterers, Per Policy,…. and Provides a Plenitude of instant gratification for one with very little Patience.  😉

The effect was Polarizing as this Pavilion of a Pool filled to the brim in about 15 minutes, as the water tanker driver tries to earn Praise from his PowderPuff girlfriend (she was very young and Pretty) with the Performance of his job. 🙂

Potential Pleasant Pleasure, ready for a Plunge of one clad in a Polyester or Poplin  swimsuit, ….not by me of course!

Precaution must Prevail as the Pre-chlorination must happen next, Precipitating any healthy swimming! 

My Phantasy is complete….a Perfect Sun Deck built right into the Pool to accommodate a Lounge Chair and Pillow Placed right in the Pool!

Perhaps a Pineapple Pina Colada Placed in one’s hand and a large Pfloppy Pink hat or Parasol, Perched on one’s head.

The next step is leveling out the surrounding garden, re-installing the sprinkler system, re-sodding the grassy area and replacing the fence.
