Autumn Decorating for 2018.
I guess I am getting into it….you know the Autumn Decorating for Fall/Autumn weather.
I dug out my Autumn pillow covers and put away my Summer pillow covers and added a few things around the room, here and there.
One of the items I added is new this year.
It is a Valerie Parhill lantern and I think the Autumn set up inside is adorable.
I opened the door so you could get a better look…
There is a blue wagon loaded with pumpkins and a cute little puppy sniffing around. I also like the lanterns within the lantern and they all light up with a timer.
Don’t ya just love the timers that come with lanterns and decor candles?
Many these days also give a choice of how long to keep the “lights” on, as it used to be 6 hour timers and now, there are 2 hour, 4 hour and 6 hour timers.
Yay!
The pillow covers all depict Autumn/Fall, some are bright yellow sunflowers and some are orange pumpkins.
I put a few green pillows in and among the sunflowers and pumpkins as the room needed a bit of additional color.
These days, Autumn Decorating can be just about any color on the color wheel.
The sage green candle luminaries sit atop gold candle pedestals, and they also add the additional green color for the room.
They are another Valerie Parhill purchase from a Christmas in July sale.

Sunflowers in a galvanized pitcher help the green apples fill up one of my dough bowls on the kitchen nook table.
It is the same green as is in the living room.
Autumn Decorating or any seasonal decorating can be a bit of a challenge sometimes as I have one extra large combination Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen Nook Dining area.
I like to have my Autumn Decorating cohesive, but all the rooms do not necessarily have to be exactly alike…Do you know what I mean?

WALL-E can show up at the most in-opportune times, but we can’t live without him, no matter whether it is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter!

Kari, your living room looks beautiful adorned for fall. I saw your gorgeous pictures on Instagram. I love the pops of green, and I have the same Valerie Parr Hill candles in gold. I love her decor, and may have gone a little overboard buying her fall decor this year. I hope your week is off to a great start. Happy Fall!!!
Thanks Shannon, and I love her things too. I also went a bit overboard as 13 packages arrived in one day! I may need an intervention….but I couldn’t resist the reading raccoons and the Fall Fox and the pink trees….well, you get the picture. Thanks for stopping by.
