Hasn’t the weather changed for the better my dear readers?
Perhaps not everywhere, but in most places the cold and wintry ice and snow has become “above freezing” weather…”t-shirt weather” according to Twin #1.
He and I might disagree on what “t-shirt weather” really means….but I assume anything without a minus in front of it is “t-shirt weather” LOL
But now let’s talk about our link party from last week.
My choice is all pink which happens to be my signature color. LOL
Not really, I just couldn’t help taking that line from the movie “Steel Magnolias”, a favorite movie of mine.
I am not saying I don’t like pink.
I do, I really do.
My Master bedroom Christmas tree has been pastel pink for the last two years, along with pink pillows and fuzzy throw.
And many of my personal items are pink…ie; curling iron, clarisonic etc.
So when I saw Cristina from birdsparty show us how easy it is to make a spa pampering kit, I got really excited.
I am definitely going to make the pink candles and I think I will try my hand at making the soap gems.
Next we have Benita’s feature pick.
The most yummy looking cinnamon roll puffs with caramel apple glaze from the mother and daughter duo, Beverly and Gloria of across the blvd.
Be sure to check out the recipe using the 3 ingredients shortcuts.
They look so good, I’m adding it to my recipe file.
Chloe picked pretty pink and red felt fortune cookies.
How cute are these adorable D.I.Y. felt fortune cookies from Tiffany at the teediddlydee blog.
You can tuck in little love notes and give to your sweetie!
And the most clicked link was from Pam at everyday living.
I always like Pam’s photos of her beautiful gardens and her travels.
Apparently, the photos were liked by many.
Her Winter Musing pictures are amazing.

Kari, lol, let’s ask Adam Levine how he defines t-shirt weather. Yes, we had near 70° today, and it wouldn’t disappoint me if it was the start of spring (wishing thinking, I know). Happy to be posting and partying this week – my first post of 2019! Thanks for partying along, and for co-hosting this leg of the week’s events. Have a good one!
