Link Party!
If it is Monday…well, you know the phrase….It is Celebrate Your Story time!
It is hard to believe that the 4th of July is only 3 days away.
It is definitely a busy time, as many of us are preparing for the holiday that celebrates America’s Independence.
Lots of BBQ’s and family get-togethers and lots of great food.
The song, “America the Beautiful” keeps going over and over in my head.
“America! America! God shed His Grace on Thee!!!
And Crown Thy Good With Brotherhood
From Sea to shining Sea! “
Oh, how I wish we could all be a brotherhood….
The good news is… we at CYS, Chloe, Benita, Rebecca and myself are a sisterhood…
….and we have gotten together again to bring you our choices from last week’s Link Party.
My first choice is from Jenn at Clean & Scentsible
Jenn show us how to make Pie Iron recipes, when you are out camping at a campground or in your own back yard.
To Jenn: I am heading over to Wal-Mart and pick up a pie iron.
My second choice is a recipe from Kelli at 3 boys and a dog.
Kelli shows us how to make Patriotic ice cream cones.
We have most likely seen ice cream cone cakes, but I like that Kelli made these with a surprise in them.
To Kelli: I am sure your boys loved these cones, I know I would enjoy them.
My third choice is from Annie at Annie’s Home
Annie provides us with a recipe for Caribbean slow cooker beef stew.
Doesn’t this look delish? I am sure the ginger and allspice really zing up the flavor.
To Annie: I have made pot roast and beef stew and I will definitely try this recipe for a different flavor.
And Our Link Party post that was clicked on the most:
was from Debra at the blog common ground
I can see why Debra’s post was clicked on so many times….the bench is so inviting with all the red, white and blue.
To Debra: The red watering can with flowers and flags immediately caught my eye, as I am a collector of watering cans. Luv it!
So there you have it my friends….thanks to all of you who joined our Celebrate Your Story (CYS) Link Party.
It is never easy picking and choosing who makes the cut as I love all of them.
Remember, we would love to have you link your favorite posts to our link party.
