Marshmallow Turkey Treats

Do you like rice krispies?

Do you like corn candy?

Do you like melted chocolate chips?

Well, even if you don’t, I’m sure your children or grand children like them and if they do, this treat is so easy to make.

These cute little birds can be used as place card holders at your Thanksgiving dinner or just use them as decor or treats for the children.

This recipe is so easy as you melt the chocolate chips and use the chocolate as “glue” to attach your candy corn to the cookies.

You can use any chocolate cookie you like and with a few pieces of corn candy…you have a tail and base for your rice krispie turkey.  The body can be shaped in a ball or any way you want your turkey to look.  Make another ball for his head and use another corn candy for his “gobbler” and face. I like to cut the white tip off the candy corn to use as the little turkey’s feet but you can also do like I sometimes do and use the whole piece of candy corn…setting the rice krispie turkey on the corn on the cookie.

To make the eyes, you can buy the little eyes by the package or you can use a toothpick to dip into the melted chocolate and then on the turkey’s face.

Easy Peasy.

The recipe is below and the rest is up to your imagination.
