March Madness Is Here…..
My dear readers, I have been very good about not posting every single game the Kansas Jayhawks have played this season.
It doesn’t mean I am any less enthusiastic about my team…
My Pinterest board “Sports – KU Basketball” is full of pics and comments of each game this season…..the Pinterest link is on the bottom left side of my home page if you would care to look. 🙂
Tonight the Jayhawks play West Virginia at 9 pm (my time) and you can be sure the Captain and I will be dressed in Jayhawk blue, cheering them on.
We have such a young team and sometimes they play “young” if you understand the world of College Basketball.
But, regardless of playing young…they have played well and have earned a tentative number 2 seed in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Yay!!! So, we have for sure been invited to the “Dance”!
They have also won at least half of the Big 12 Conference Championship for this season, but could win it all if we win the next two games. 😉
If you will permit me to brag just a bit….please?
Under Coach Bill Self, the Kansas Jayhawks have won more Big 12 Conference Championships than they have lost games at Lawrence.
Let me elaborate….KU has 11 titles ….and they have only lost 9 games in Allen Fieldhouse. Wow!

Example: When I watch Mario Chalmers play for the NBA’s Miami Heat, and I see how his appearance has changed from a “kid” to a grown man, I just feel pride. And he played for Kansas from 2005-2008….so that was 7 years ago.
