Good Evening dear readers and I hope you are not digging out from under many, many inches of snow and/or ice.
I have been absent for a couple days as my only daughter and grand daughter #3 escaped the 13 degree temps of the midwest, for some warm rays of SW Florida.
We had a wonderful time driving around Florida with the top down on the convertible and putting our feet in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean and acting like silly school girls.
They got to watch a Manatee pup rescue from Manatee Park (near the Cape) and huge ships going under draw bridges at Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale.
They needed the R and R in order to go back and face the blasts of Winter in Kansas and Missouri that doesn’t seem to want Spring to slowly creep in.
Now that my family has gone back to the frigid temperatures (I don’t miss that one bit), I can get back to work on my blog.
Featured Posts From Last Week!
My first featured choice from last week’s link party is from Lori at Dining Delight.
She has captured St. Patrick green for her lovely table.
Kelly green is my favorite color but the lighter greens are close runner-ups! Yay!
To Lori: You are so clever using those dollar tree watering cans as napkin rings! Genius! Love it!
My second featured pick from last week was from Catherine of Smashing Plates.
Catherine has captured a “tuxedo napkin” perfectly!
To Catherine: I have many of the same elements for an Award show tablescape…(because you and I like to shop the same places)…LOL…but you have a few more items…love the little Director’s chair! Great Job my friend.
My third choice is my sweet friend Pam of Everyday Living , who with her husband, Butch are together celebrating 46 years of marriage
To Pam and Butch:…I love your love story and to be together 46 years speaks volumes of what and who is important in your lives, and “your song” is a wonderful song, even after all these years.
Happy Anniversary dear friend and I love the selfie below.
The most clicked on post from last week was a Boursin cheese spread from Tracey of the kitchen is my playground
Tracey says: “Easy-to-make savory Boursin cheese spread is beautifully flecked with herbs and black pepper. It’s so simple to make your own at home!”
To Tracey: Dips are one of my favorite eating past times. Give me chips or crackers and I can make a meal out of any dip. This recipe is a definite keeper., Thank you!
If you would like to be featured at our link party, it is so easy to do…just follow the directions below.
