The Flip’s Pool!
Update! For those of you who have been following me….you will know that we bought a house to flip and we are putting in a pool.
It isn’t finished yet…but here are a few pics of the progress so far….
The Pool being dug…
Then rebar and bracing was put in…
The pool and bottom poured and the tile put on the edge…..I really liked the tile I picked out. You never know what it will look like on! I think it looks like water waves.
The decking poured…..and smoothed
It is a science these days as they add poly something-or-other to the cement mix…
Each section of the decking is poured…
Using a 2X4 to level out the freshly poured concrete
Using the bull float to smooth out the top…
After the “finish” work is done…edging the corners and cutting grooves into the concrete…the forms are removed and the concrete begins to “curing process” which will last up to 30 days.
So that, my friends is the beginning to having a pool for summertime fun… or if you live in Florida…year round fun!
I have to admit, I am in our home pool every day if possible.
It is so relaxing on very hot days and refreshing on cool days.
Plus the added bonus is the water aerobics…..
Sometimes my aerobics consist of just “moving” about in the pool! 😉

Dancing with the Stars is on tonight and that is good aerobics too!
Well, I don’t think watching is very aerobic!

It took awhile to get used to getting in the pool by myself again….I miss your daily dips with me.;)
Of course the Captain tries to make up for it and I must say…he does a pretty good job! hahaha
