Folks, it is football playoff time and for this football, college basketball and baseball fan…..it is exciting.
Especially when my football team….The Kansas City Chiefs, advanced to the AfC Championship game for next week.
You see, the Chiefs beat the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.
In case you don’t know who my teams are…They are the Kansas Jayhawks, (College Basketball) and the Kansas City Royals (Pro Baseball) and of course the aforementioned pro football Kansas City Chiefs.
I confess, I am a sports fanatic.
On another note, it is also Celebrate Your Story time, particularly #163 of said story, so let’s get right to the featured links from last week.
I chose the tablescape from Kimberly of DIY Party Mom in which she chose pizza, which is one of my favorite football watching foods!
However, Kimberly used this “pizza my heart” theme for her Valentine’s Day tablescape.
I love thee pun intended and play on words and I love her table setting.
Aren’t the flatware holders adorable?
Chloe chose for her favorite feature, a DIY indoor awning using re-purposed tin.
This DIY comes to us from Lindsey at repurpose and upcycle diy blog.
What a clever way to add to a wall grouping.
Sandra chose a stainless steel marinade injection kit review by Lynda of Reviews, Chews & How-Tos blog….as her feature pick.
Just look at the wonderful tritip roast that Lynda made….injected with just the right amount of bourbon butter.
I will look into this stainless steal injector…so much better than plastic.
Yummy!
It appears that most of you were wanting to know how to clean the inside of your oven door, as the most popular post was from Chas of Chascrazycreations blog.
Chas shows us how to put a combination of baking soda and vinegar on the inside of the oven door, which results in a bright shiny clean door.
Great tip!
