Take be out to the ball game…
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don’t care if I never get back.
Yep, as the basketball season is winding down……
…..it is time for baseball and the Captain and I are going to the opening game of the Kansas City Royals and we are meeting up with lots of family for even more fun at the game.
I know,…. sports seem to run end to end don’t they?
The Link Party Posts:
Speaking of running end to end…we had some wonderful posts on the link up this past week.
I tried to respond and comment on all as they were amazing.
The first post I chose was…from Catherine of Smashing Tablescapes! Catherine caught my eye with her beautiful pink Spring Tulips!
You know of my love of anything pink that has got a hold of me and won’t let go this Spring, so it is no wonder that I fell in love with Catherine’s amazing tablescape.
To Catherine: You and I seem to have the same taste in Valerie Par Hill decor. Thanks for sharing a few of her pieces, I wanted the pink faceted vase, but had to settle for the gold vase as they were sold out. ;(
The second choice is from CoCo of The Crowned Goat. Coco brings us a dining room make over that took several attempts before getting it just right.
We have all been there haven’t we?
To CoCo: Thanks for reminding us that our surroundings don’t have to be perfect and we don’t have to settle for something we really don’t like. Great job!
The third feature is from Victoria of Dazzle While Frazzled.
I don’t like to eat peeps…much too sweet for me, but I love to use them to “make something” and Victoria has used a plastic egg and peeps for the cutest centerpiece.
To Victoria: I love your inspiration and once I made a little car using a twinkie and peeps. It was so much fun to make!
The Most Clicked On Link:
And the most clicked on post was not surprising at all, after all who doesn’t want to see 15 ways to use alcohol, a staple most of us have on hand.
No, not that kind of drinking alcohol, but rubbing alcohol.
This post came from Chas’ Crazy Creations . and I, too needed to see ways to use rubbing alcohol.
To Chas: Thank you for all your tips on ways to use rubbing alcohol. The mattress one was a way I had not heard of.

Thank you so much for the feature, Kari! I really appreciate it. The dining room was definitely an adventure. We’re set to give the laundry room a makeover next. Fingers crossed, it will be a smooth transition of decorating ideas and function 🙂 I hope you have the best day and thanks again for the feature and for hosting! Hugs, CoCo

Thank you so much for the feature Kari! We both share the love of all things Valerie Parr Hill. I’m sorry you didn’t get the pink hurricanes, but hopefully she will bring them back soon. Enjoy your time at opening day in Kansas. I am sure it will be lots of fun!
