Link Party time!
Hello Sweet readers!
It is Monday and you know that means it is Celebrate Your Story time.
This is where we get together and look at who and what and where other bloggers have been posting!
I never cease to be amazed at all the clever DIY’s that comee our way.
Usually, I say to myself….“Self !!! Why didn’t you think of that?” LOL
Let us get started.
Take a look at these pretty planters from Carol at Blue sky at home.
Carol has shown us how to paint planters to co-ordinate with our outdoor (or indoor) decor.
Simple, yet so personal to our decor.
To Carol: Thanks for showing us a way to personalize our planters with color to match our style.
How about these wood lanterns from Kippi at home?
Kippi designed a pretty lattice fence and needed that little sumpthin’ sumpthin’ to finish it off.
To Kippi: The wood lanterns are so easy to make and is one of those things that I wonder why I didn’t think of it. LOL
And for my third choice from last week is something I have always wanted!
Michele from the scrap shoppe shows us how to make a rain barrel for watering plants, etc.
Rain water is so much better for our plants than the city water that has so many chemicals in it.
To Michele: Thanks for your tutorial on setting up this rain barrel. I know it is in my future somewhere.
Link Party most clicked on Post is below.
And it is from Lori at Dining Delight.
As you can see, Lori lives in Canada and July 1st is Canada Day for all Canadians.
Every time I see a Canadian flag…I sing the words to “Canada Oh Canada” in my head….I think it is because I am such a Winter Olympics fan and no, I do not know all the words, but I sing what I know. LOL
TO LORI: Thank you for sharing your national holiday with us on the U.S. side of the border.
So there you have it my friends….thanks to all of you who joined our Celebrate Your Story (CYS) Link Party.
It is never easy picking and choosing who makes the cut as I love all of them.
Remember, we would love to have you link your favorite posts to our link party.

Thanks for hosting! This week I am bringing more goodness from the garden. Tuna Salad in a Cantaloupe Bowl with cottage cheese and pineapple kicks off the list. Then a cucumber, tomato and red onion salad for a lite summer lunch. To round off the menu is a simple but delicious Cucumber and Onion side dish! Enjoy!
