Stitch in time is what comes to my mind when I talk about this item.
Last Summer I enrolled in a program called Stitch Fix.
I told you about it here. I also shared a few more “life experiences in that post” titled: “Somebody Left the Back Door Open and This and That”
Click on it if you missed it or would like to see just what I said about personal shoppers.
If you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix, it is a personal shopper, who works from your likes and dislikes and sends you clothes to supposedly match your style.
Some are misses…big time.
And some are right on.
They package it so nicely and it is fun to open it up and not know exactly what is inside.
(Actually, you can find out what they are sending you, but I like to be really surprised. LOL)
There are several other companies that do this shopping for you, (and I have never tried those), because my daughter and grand daughter told me about this one.
The concept is you don’t have to shop for clothes, shoes, jewelry or other personal items.
You have your own personal shopper to do it for you and they send you their choices based on what you tell them.
Plus, you can choose how often your shopper sends you choices.
The good news is you can keep all pieces, one piece or send them all back.
I must tell you that I am NOT a spokesperson for Stitch Fix nor do I receive compensation.
In fact, I have sent back almost all items…except for the Stitch Fix package I received today.
Another “plus” is you tell your personal shopper how much you want to spend.
Which, many times I have told my shopper that I may like an item, but it is too expensive, so back it goes.
Which is another plus.
Stitch fix sends you a post office bag with free shipping to return your items.
You just plop them in the bag (no box) and send them back and wait for your next shopping time or exchange for another size or color.
Which is why I am telling you about this today.
Finally….
My personal shopper, Kaylee…gets me….she really gets me.
OK, I was being a bit dramatic using a line from the movie Norma Rae, where Sally Field announced to the Academy Awards audience…’you like me, you really like me’.
I think they proved later that she actually said something like:. “you like me, right now, you like me”…but you know how much better the gossip mill makes these stories. LOL
I like these sneakers and they fit nicely.
There was this pretty, white, textured, sleeveless blouse, which I would wear under a jacket or sweater of some sort.
Honey, the tops of my arms haven’t seen visitation daylight in years, (unless it is at the privacy of my own pool). LOL
And I always like blue chambray shirts.
This one is soooooooo soft.
Love it.
There is also a mixed material flowered blousy-blouse that is navy on the back and floral on the front.
Also, a pair of skinny jeans in a purple/cranberry color that I most likely would never have picked, but I like it.
All in all Kaylee got all the items right.
As I said, I have not been so fortunate before.
In fact, I was so disappointed the first few times that I asked them to wait 6 months before sending me anything else.
Have you used personal shoppers?
I know many bloggers are so busy that they use the grocery store personal shoppers and they think that is the best thing since sliced bread.
Have a great and Blessed day.
Hugs Always

Such cute clothing! I was interested in Stitch Fix. I myself wear only natural fabrics…cotton, linen, etc. For some reason I develop a rash when wearing synthetics. I inquired if I could recieve boxes that featured such fabrics. No such luck. Indeed it is becoming more and more of a challenge to find ready made clothing in all cotton, etc. So I sew. Have a wonderful weekend!

good to know Laura….I wasn’t aware of the non availability of natural fabrics….thanks for the info. You are so talented with your sewing…..I am so envious as you have choices with no fit issues. thanks for stopping by dear friend. Blessings

hi Kari, my daughter gave me a $100 gift card for Stitch Fix for Mother’s Day, and I’ve had fun anticipating the packages. So far I have kept 1 top and 1 necklace…in the last box, well it was for somebody else! The enclosed letter said hi Rebecca! Everything was awful 😂 So I called them and they were super nice, and credited me an extra $20. I don’t think I’ll keep it up after my credit runs out, I have several favorite stores that I love and can buy on line and return to the store here if I don’t like, free shipping, so that’s the way I prefer. My daughter loves it though and has even gotten clothes for her husband. So glad you are having good luck, cute stuff!

Those are cute, Kari. Your comment on the upper arms…bahahaha. I’ve never used Stitch Fix, but one of my daughters did for a while. She got some cute things, but sent a lot back too. I am seriously trying to stick to the one in, one out method of clothing inventory since our downsize. So far so good.
Kari says
Rita you are just too cool. I wanna be like you when I grow up….my closet is a disaster. 🙁 I need to do the one in and one out method….instead of 5 in and 0 out. LOL Hugs sweet friend.

Hi Kari,
I really like the clothes the personal shopper picked out for you, they look like clothes I, myself, would wear alot, comfortable. Several years ago, I used to shop at a similar site but once this site took off it became more expensive and less easy to return items.
So, on the cancer front…. I am still cancer free (yeah!!!!!) but have had a major side effect from cancer drugs, loss of vision in one eye so no more cancer treatment only eye doctor visits. Hopefully this will resolve it’s self.
Your support and encouragement means alot to me Life always has it’s blessing and being given a new friend is one.

So glad to hear about you are still cancer free, but sad about what the cancer drug treatments are doing to your eye, sweet friend. You are always in my prayers….hang in there ….God will never leave you and nor will I.
