Aren’t these Pastel pink and yellow egg houses so cute?
I couldn’t resist them.
Yes, I got them on-line. and I found them to be just as adorable in person as they were on-line.
I placed the yellow egg house on a polka dot pink pastel pedestal and when I liked what I saw, I placed the pink pastel egg house on a pink pastel cake plate too.
I love the way the pastel ceramic trees go so well with the egg houses.
And the little pastel colored eggs on the white bottle brush trees remind me of the many egg hunts In my childhood.
I told you all earlier that I have been having a love affair with pastel pink.
You might recognize the flower petal plates and the cup and saucer from my 2019 Easter tablescape.
(That particular blog post gave a lot of background on a ‘behind the scenes blogger’s tablescape’ and if you missed it, please click here ….and you just might feel differently about your own tablescaping.)
But I digress, more on this current tablescape.
I added an off-white, rustic charger, the pastel purple dinner plate and a pastel green gingham bunny salad plate.
I found the bunny salad plate on-line at either Hobby Lobby or Michael’s. (There were only two available, but I bought them anyway. I believe they were 3.00 each)
The Spring colored napkins, I have had for years and finally decided to use them on this table.
I’ve also had the rabbit napkin rings, in like forever…I think I got them from Pier 1, remember them?
The macarons are not home made, although that is a priority along with home made bread in the bread maker.
But aren’t the little bunnies trying to get to the macarons cute?
I probably should have named this tablescape “The Bunnies” as I have so many on the table.
I love bunnies and noticed a little cottontail in my Secret Garden yesterday.
I couldn’t help but smile at him through the window as I sipped my hot tea.
Speaking of bunnies, I put a few bunnies in the back of this pastel pink pick-up.
And here is a pink gingham bunny.
And Mr. & Mrs. Bunny are wheeling a bunch of carrots!
Below, I love the straw bunny with the pink straw hat peeking over the macarons.
And the impish little white ceramic bunny peeking from behind the tulip vase.
He looks like he has been caught in Mr. McGregor’s garden.
Easter Menu will be the following this year.
I am cooking a lot more and home made food is tasting really good these days.
Apricot Glazed Ham
What is on your Easter Dinner Menu this year?
Blessings Always
Kari

Kari, I’m so glad you treated yourself to those egg houses…they are adorable! I love the abundant bunnies on your table. My favorites are the ones holding the napkins and the little guy trying to steal the macaroons. I do remember your “behind the scenes” tablescape post. It was right on point! I’m so glad we’ve all become friends through our love for setting pretty tables. Have a wonderful Easter with the Captain. Your menu sounds delicious!
Carol says
Kari, it’s so great to see you and your style again. What a fabulous collection of Easter decorations. That pink truck is precious. You certainly have a knack for designing a fun tablescape. Take care and Happy Easter.

Kari, sorry I’m so late coming in here. Your place settings are just so adorable. It reminds me of all the things my grandmother used to do for Easter. I just love what you’ve done. It brings back a lot of memories.
Liz (Home and Gardening With Liz) says
Oh this is the cutest table! I love all the bunnies, it’s like a Christmas Village! Those egg house are adorable and I really like them elevated on the pedestals. The pink truck is too cute! You put a lot of detail into this and it’s wonderful! I’ll send my bunnies over after they’re done parading!
Marsha says
Kari, I am sold on the Easter egg houses too. They remind me so much of the homemade sugar Easter eggs that are made with the cute Easter scene inside. Made totally out of sugar.
Kari says
I hear ya Marsha…I thought they did too. I haven’ seen those sugar egg houses in a long, long time. I also remember the much smaller sugar eggs with little scenes in them. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and Blessings

Bunnies, bunnies, everywhere and they are adorable. I wouldn’t be able to resist those egg houses and floral trees either. After discovering that I only had two bins of Easter decor I will be on the hunt to add those to my stash. Who can resist a gingham bunny plate and bunnies in trucks!? This is so pretty Kari and I am so happy to have you back with us again. Wishing you and the Captain a very blessed Easter and joyous spring.
Kari says
Sandra, thank you so much for your kind comments. I think my love of bunnies came when I first read Peter Cottontail many, many years ago. Thanks for stopping by my friend. Have a great and enjoyable Easter with your family.

Hello Kari, your pastel table is so pretty. Love the sweet bunnies. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny are so darling. You have covered it all from egg houses, egg trees, bunnies and carrots. Love this tablescape. Going to our sons for ham Easter dinner. He asked for my deviled eggs and knows I will bring a dessert. Have a recipe for strawberry yogurt cake I am going to try. I always wear my bunny vest I made 20 years ago and my bunny ears. I even wear to church. I don’t think God minds!!!!
Kari says
DeeDee I am so glad you stopped by. Enjoy your family dinner and I believe I have seen you wear those bunny ears.
Bonnie Morgan says
Kari, your little pastel egg houses are adorable. Bunnies are everywhere all so very cute. I love the ceramic trees and bottle brush trees with eggs too. Your Easter storage bin was full to the brim.
The song ‘He Lives’ says it all. What a joy to serve a risen savior. You have served so well.
Now, you know you have piqued my interest about your former post but I will have to wait until my comment is finished before I read it. I’ve learned that lesson too many times and lost my comment.
It warms my heart you are feeling well and blogging. These hops have been fun.
Your Easter menu sounds wonderful. I wish you and your family a beautiful Easter.
Kari says

Kari, I think we are kindred spirits in our love of Valerie Parr Hill decor. I have several of the same pieces that you do. I love the egg houses! Your table looks just beautiful with all of your pretties. Macarons are my favorite, and your Easter menu sounds scrumptious. I hope that you have a most happy and blessed Easter!
Kari says
Shannon, I love all Valerie’s pieces. I have collected so many of her things over the years. I think one of the first items was a large pumpkin shaped punch bowl with lid and ladle. I still have it. Yes, we are kindred spirits.
Blessings
Kari with an “i”….LOL

Kari, I know you were so excited to create this beautiful Easter tablescape. I also have a thing for bunnies as long as they aren’t nibbling on my flowers in the garden. The egg houses are so adorable as are the bottle brush tree with eggs, and the pink pickup load of bunnies. Your menu is perfect for Easter as we celebrate our Risen Lord. The miracle of Easter lives in you my friend! So happy to hop with you 🐰🐰🐰
Kari says
I agree about the garden eating bunnies….they can be pests. Cute pests, but still pests.LOL
I did enjoy putting this table together.

Rita C. says
Kari, your explosion of bunnies and egg houses is a fairy tale delight! It all conjures up images that could very easily be illustrations in a book, seriously. Bunnies really are endearing, even when they become a nuisance in a garden (it’s a good thing they’re cute!). Your menu sounds outstanding, and I am so happy to hear you are enjoying not only eating good meals, but cooking them too! You are a miracle example of prayer in my book and I thank God for blessing your health routinely. HapPy SPring, friend!
Kari says
Rita I am so fortunate to have my prayer warriors like yourself, praying for me daily. God DOES answer prayer and He continues to Bless me daily.
Thank you sweet friend for your kind comments about my table setting…this is something I enjoy doing…it almost feels like I am still playing with my dishes as I did as a small child. Golly, that seems so long ago. LOL
Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
