Color Me Blue

Friends…..I love blue, hence the title Color Me Blue.

I love the blue of my favorite sports teams. The Royal Blue of the Kansas City Royals (baseball) and the Bright Blue of the Kansas Jayhawks. (college football)

I love the blue of Blue Skies and my Blue Heaven.

I love Blue Velvet, Blueberry Hill and Blue Plate Specials.

But you can color me blue because a few months ago I set an Easter tablescape of…yes, you guessed it…blue dinnerware, flatware, teapot and all kinds of blue.

And it disappeared from my blog.

Something happened in the cyber world of blogging and my blue tablescape disappeared.  I was so disappointed that my wonderful blue tablescape was gone forever.  On top of that, I was participating in a Spring Blog Hop, so all my stylist friends’ tables vanished too.  My tech people tried to find the missing tablescape but to no avail.  So, I am repeating the table, but with different text as I don’t remember what I said 5 minutes ago, let alone 5 months ago,

Perhaps you remember this blue table…. if you follow me regularly.

I started the table with a blue chinoiserie tablecloth, a white dinner plate with a blue and white salad plate.  The blue napkin with a yellow chick napkin ring finished the plate stack.  The French blue and white handled flatware, blue stemmed goblet and tea cup and saucer completed the table setting.

The centerpiece was made up of bunny rabbits of blue, white and yellow along with white lambs and yellow fuzzy chicks. I also added two sets of blue and white delftware salt & pepper shakers.

I especially like the blue and white tea pot, creamer and sugar, as I love tea pots and more importantly, I love to drink hot tea.

Of course the cupcakes were blue and yellow as well as a tray of blue and yellow petit fours and cookies.

I sprinkled sugar on the top of the blue and yellow cupcakes to give them a little glitter.

Last but certainly not least, it would not be an Easter table without this message.

He is Risen

I really like those little fluffy yellow chicks.  It does not take much to make me smile and I do smile at them.

Thank you for reading this far with a tablescape that is a repeat… but this was the only way I could have a record of this particular tablescape and don’t forget…I really like blue.

Have a great and wonderful week.
